Come enjoy a fun filled evening, which features nine rooms highlighting various forms of chocolate, like chicken with chocolate sauce, chocolate drizzled popcorn and yummy chocolate martinis. This year’s theme is Willie Wonka and the Chocolate Factory. Mix and mingle with friends and family at Lisa and Michael Lujan’s spectacular home for an enjoyable evening out.
All proceeds from Art of Chocolate are used to promote quality early education for all children, even children at risk due to low family income or challenging behaviors.We welcome and encourage you to help Champions for Children make this night a success by sponsoring the evening at one of the designated chocolate levels. Each day, more than 8,000 children attend a childcare facility in Smith County (in 75 childcare facilities). Prioritizing quality care for tiny East Texans is the driving force behind Champions for Children. We are committed to supporting and training preschool and daycare educators with the classes and certifications they need as well as offering them ongoing support through mentoring, conferences, and training sessions. We are the only organization of this kind in Texas.
With three childcare development and behavior specialists on staff, Champions for Children is also able to offer specialized services for at-risk children ages birth to 18 years, because all children deserve to be happy.
